Dear Girls Into VC Family,

Sunday’s school shooting at Brown University followed by Monday’s mass shooting at a Jewish holiday celebration in Australia shock and horrify us all. We are grateful that our GIVC members at Brown are physically safe, and we pray for an end to senseless violence and tragedy.

Through these especially difficult days, please know that GIVC is here for you and we are here for each other, always. Let’s commit to checking in on one another, taking care of our community, and continuing to being a light for those around us.

Hanukkah is a reminder to bring light in moments of darkness. These events make that message feel especially urgent and real.

Girls Into VC is so much more than an organization that opens doors to venture capital; we are, first and foremost, a purpose-driven community and we thrive by lifting each other.
